The real estate industry of Massachusetts is pleased due to the decreasing number of home owners losing properties due to foreclosures.The number of foreclosure fillings dropped to about 30% between January to September of 2009 compared a year earlier in the same periods.
Several factors could be attributed to the dropping number of foreclosure in the state. One is the government's pressure on lenders to assist home owners to restructuring their loans and mortgages.
