    In just a single year, Canadian investments in US real estate have jumped from 11 percent to 23.5 percent of the US real estate market, making the Canadians the largest group of foreign investors in US real estate.

    But why are they that interested? For one, the Canadian dollar is currently at pat with the US dollar, something that has not happened since the mid-1970's. Canadians are currently enjoying the best exchange rate with the US dollar for the last three decades.
