BP Compensation?

Data like this can be taken to BP for compensation, can't it? Unlike tourism that can rebound faster after a clean up, real estate takes forever to rebound as the contaminated land will need to be cleaned by either the seller or the buyer to make it market worthy again. If it weren't for BP then the land would be fine.

Boosting real estate

Enforcing tax credits is definitely a great way to boost a state's real estate industry as proven by the people of Kansas.

It certainly helped this state's economy, which was very timely considering that the United States is still reeling from the global recession.

Although it looks like the tax credit was implemented like a promotion for a limited time only. As a result, Kansas's real estate immediately declined after the first deadline ended sometime in April 2009. Perhaps, Kansas' Tax Department should consider implementing this incentive for a limited period every year to ensure that its real estate industry will sustain its increasing income.
